We have completed our ISO 9001:2015 recertification audit with no major non-conformities. The certificate is renewed, but the more useful question is what actually changed inside the building.
Two things. First, lot traceability now travels backwards through the incoming inspection record to the polymer supplier's own batch number, not just to the delivery note. If a customer reports an issue eighteen months after shipment, we can still reconstruct the raw material batch.
Second, supplier control is now scored. Incoming resin and stock shapes are assessed on dimensional conformance, colour consistency and documentation completeness, and suppliers below threshold go on a corrective action plan. In practice this is what stops the slow drift where a grade is nominally the same but machines differently six months later.
