PEI (ULTEM) 1000 Amber Sheet and Rod
Unfilled polyetherimide — transparent, flame retardant and dimensionally stable to 170 °C.
Glass-filled PEI with higher stiffness and a lower coefficient of thermal expansion.
PEI combines high strength and rigidity with excellent electrical insulation and inherent UL94 V-0 flame retardance. The amber transparency allows visual inspection of fluid paths and fixtures. Used for IC test sockets, sterilisation trays and aircraft interior components.
